GAS Conference Demo, Tacoma

The 2022 GAS Conference marked the 50th Anniversary of the Glass Art Society, and they celebrated by bringing together the international glass community in Tacoma, Washington.

I was selected to demonstrate at The Museum of Glass alongside students from Hilltop and assisted by Bethany Wood and Hanne Enemark. This demonstration is one I will never forget. The conference and the venue were iconic. At the conference I also assisted Louis Thompson and Hanne Enemark on their collaborative work and Cathryn Shilling with her UK team. The conference is an incredible event to allow you to connect with artists and enthusiasts from all over the world.

I also got the opportunity, thanks to Joseph Rossano, to have my work created by Ben Cobb at The museum of Glass a couple of days after the conference. The experience is unforgettable and one I will never forget.
